morzine lift opening dates

We like the lifts. They make it easy to get to the tops of the mountains! Here are the lift opening dates for summer 2008. We'll get you 2009 dates as soon as we can.

If you want as many lifts open as possible come in July or August, if you prefer quieter trails and are happy to do some pedaling (plus a few minibus uplifts) try June or September. A lot of our favourite trails involve a bit of climbing, and we reckon it’s worth it to get away from the crowds and find the best singletrack. 

June 7th - Limited lifts open in Morzine and Les Gets (Chavannes lift is open just 7,8 june and every day from 14 June, Mont Chery and Nauchets from 28th June and Pleney is open every day from 7th June)                                                                                            June 28th - Full area lifts open in the whole Portes du Soleil area (Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Chatel, Morgins, Les Crosets)
Aug 31st - Full area lifts close
Sept 7th - Morzine and Les Gets limited lifts close

The Passeportes event will be over the 28th and 29th June this year.

A one day pass in 2009 will be €20, longer duration pass prices have not yet been released but expect to pay around €70-80 for a 6 day pass. Bargain!
