Getting to Morzine

There are two main ways of getting to Morzine - either fly to Geneva, or drive all the way. You can also take the train, although not directly to morzine.

Flying to Geneva

You'll need to check on each airlines policy (we try an keep our airline policy page up to date for this) - there will be usually be a small sumpliment to alow you to bring your own bike - but it's not too much hassle. If you let us know your flight details, we can sort you out a transfer from Geneva to Morzine - this will cost around 35 euros each way per person and takes just over an hour. Alternatively you can hire a car and drive up.

Driving

It takes a while, but can be good fun if there's a few of you in the car to share the driving. It takes about 8-10 hours from Calais depending on how heavy your right foot is :) - You should also be aware that driving is far far better for the environment than flying. Expect to pay about 60 euros in tolls each way. The distance from Calais is around 600 miles.

Train

you can take a train to geneva airport from which we can pick you up along with anyone else flying in. Alternatively take a train to the French town of Thonon, which is about 30-40 minutes drive from Morzine. Take the Eurostar from London to Paris, be prepared for the Metro or taxi to Gare du Lyon, then Paris to Geneva takes 3.5 hours and is a very scenic trip. As with flying, make sure your bike is packed well for travel!
