Morzine Lifts
We like the lifts. They make it easy to get to the tops of the mountains! Here are the provisional lift opening dates for summer 2010.
If you want as many lifts open as possible come in July or August, if you prefer quieter trails and are happy to do some pedaling (plus a few minibus uplifts) try June or September. A lot of our favourite trails involve a bit of climbing, and we reckon it’s worth it to get away from the crowds and find the best singletrack.
2010 Provisional Lift Opening Dates
- June 5th - Pleney lift opens in Morzine
- June 12th - Chavannes Express, L'Express du Nauchets and Mont Chery lifts open in Les Gets
-
June 25th - Full area lifts open in the whole Portes du Soleil area (Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Chatel, Morgins, Les Crosets)
-
Aug 29th - Full area lifts close, Morzine and Les Gets remains open
- Sept 12th - Morzine and Les Gets limited lifts close
The Passeportes event will be over the 26th and 27th June this year, with the main exhibiton being in Chatel.
