Guided rides
Since 2008, there has been a clamp down in the Morzine area with regard to guiding and accompanied riding. Regretably we can no longer offer 'accompanied' riding with our guests - the French authorities do not recognise our SMBLA guiding qualifications. As such we now offer guests comprehensive route guides of the local area. These can be supplied on our free to use GPS units, or by marking up your maps.
If you do require the use of a guide (recommended for at least one day if you're new to the area), then we can arrange it for an additional fee. Guides charge a rate per day (around 220 euros) so it makes sense to get one as a group. You might find like minded riders staying with us to share a guide with to keep the costs down. Just mention the fact that you're interested in guiding when booking your holiday with us.
There are a few Guides we recommend and use regularly for our guests. they are all good riders, who know the area's best trails and speak fluent English.
