Riding in Morocco

The trails we’re riding on are all natural trails the locals use to get them and their mules to market. We don’t stick on the 4x4 tracks used in most Moroccan riding trips as we prefer the technical singletracks: we’re riding trails that hardly anyone else will have gone down on a bike. The excitement expressed by local kids that we pass will show you that!

We use our vehicles as much as possible for uplifts. There are some climbs but these are kept to a minimum; just like you, we like riding down as much as possible! However, due to the nature of riding natural trails on real mountains there are some climbs, and some parts where pushing and carrying your bike is necessary. Be prepared for some clambering over rocks! These trails are best suited to an All Mountain or Cross Country rig, and you may find that leg and arm armour help with confidence on the rocky descents.

These trails are very challenging, and many have a high consequence if you go wrong! The trails are mostly very rocky and many are narrow singletracks with a steep drop to the side. Others have rocky steps and are littered with lots of loose rocks. This holiday is for experienced mountain bikers who are happy on exposed trails and on rocky rooty descents.
