Accommodation
Finding good quality accommodation for the Alpe d'Huez Megavalanche is no easy task, but we reckon we've found the perfect bikers haunts in Le Chamois and La Vallée Blanche. After Le Chamois quickly filled up we opened the Vallée Blanche too and we'll have more bikers than ever before staying with flowmtb this year. Expect a fun sociable week of riding!
The flowmtb Megavalanche hotels are in the old section of the town known as "vieil alpe" and this traditional feel is carried through to the rooms which are simple, light and airy, but comfortable with a rustic style.
They are well situated for all the amenities of the town, just a short walk to the shops and sports centre, plus the Grandes Rousses lift. And hence, to the registration for the races, and all the events during the week.
Most of the rooms are en suite and most are south facing, many of them having a balcony. There are a selection of twin rooms, doubles, triples and quads to choose from.
If you're coming out alone then the flowmtb Megavalanche hotel is the perfect place to stay. Last year we had as many guests coming out individually as in groups. People hooked up to ride together during the day; and meals are provided in the evening, offering the perfect way to get to know each other and sort out the next day's ride. flowmtb staff will be on hand to help with any info you need on registering or where to ride.
Accommodation is offered from the 5-12 July, with the possibility to add longer stays on or have a slightly shorter stay.
flowmtb staff will be in resort from midday on the 5th July. They will be present at all meals in the hotels and there will also be set times where you know where to find them should you need any help with your bike, your registration, where to ride or anything else. Both hotels have staff who are responsible for the cooking and cleaning, but you can also go to the flowmtb reps with any questions about this aspect of the trip too.

All prices are per person for shared occupancy of rooms. If you are travelling alone you can elect to share with another single traveller.
