our ethical policy
We all know that mountain biking and holidaying abroad isn't the best thing for our planet. However, we can minimise the impact our favourite pastimes have.
At
we buy from local producers and use local produce as much as possible. We can also direct you to ethical suppliers and the 'good guys' to get your kit. We ask our guests to respect the mountains and not to drop litter. We do what we can to reduce our emmissions and wastage, such as using energy saver lightbulbs and not using disposable place settings. As for the rest, we offset and are working towards becoming fully accreddited with the Carbon Neutral Company.
For anyone interested in reducing your contribution to global warming, go to The Carbon Neutral Company. They have a variety of offsetting projects to slice off the impact your holiday has on the environment. Let us know if you're interested and we can sort it out for you.
We feel strongly about animal welfare so only buy free range eggs and chicken. This costs us more, but we feel it's important. We don't eat battery farmed food and don't see why you should in order for us to save some pennies! To find out why visit www.rspca.org.uk/campaignfacts
